BETNIJAH LANEY-HAMILTON CLAIMED BY THE MYSTICS | EP93

You know what I just realized?

It's dude's night out.

Dude's night out.

Dude's night out.

There's no low.

Low about to kill us again.

Yes, she is.

There's no low.

Low as always.

She's going to wake up like,

what the fuck?

Two hours again?

Right.

There's no low this week.

But we are back with the best damn

W show episode.

Ninety-three.

Ninety-three.

I feel like we've just been flip-flopping.

One week, I may not be here,

then Lo not going to be here,

but hey, people need to take vacations,

man.

It was just... I needed that vacation,

and we're back.

Kids back in school today.

We made it.

Everybody going to school full-time.

Ain't no eight to twelve,

or twelve to two-thirty.

Everybody out the house at seven-thirty.

y'all sleep is getting on my fucking

nerves already.

She did.

She moved in today.

Oh yeah.

When I tell you,

when I tell you I got,

so she FaceTimed me first thing this

morning.

Cool.

And, uh,

She, you know, she,

she's still on that tip of not,

not really.

She, she wanted, she ready to go,

but not really type deal.

So then she gets up there and she

all bent out of shape because her

roommates got there before her,

but they didn't tell her.

I was like,

they had to tell you nothing.

Like get your ass up there and fucking

go.

Get situated, get your shit together,

and get ready.

You need to get ready to be worried

about these classes.

That's what I'm, I was like,

your roommates,

you gon' figure them out as you go.

You got plenty of time to- You may

not even like their ass.

Right, and that's why I said,

I was like,

the only thing that y'all need to do

is respect each other.

That is it.

Yeah, that's it, that's it.

That is it.

That is it.

Yeah, MJ.

She had kids in the lab was going

to school last week,

two weeks ago was the first.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But like my mom,

my kids got out of school the week

right before Memorial Day weekend.

So, you know, this is very early.

You know,

August twelve is very early for them.

Usually it's like the end of August or

after Labor Day.

So but I'm not mad.

I'm not mad whatsoever.

No, not mad at all.

Yeah, I know parents is happy as hell.

Oh, man.

Me and Ryan went to,

after we dropped them off at school,

we went to have breakfast.

And we just sat there quiet for a

second.

Like, we didn't, we wasn't,

we didn't even, we wasn't even, like,

scrolling on our phone.

We were just both sitting there and just

quiet.

Cause y'all, cause y'all just dealt,

y'all just came off a family trip.

So y'all, y'all was like,

y'all was just enjoying it.

Shit, peace and quiet.

No chaos.

No chaos.

No hitting, no telling, no whining.

No, I'm hungry again.

None of that.

We just sat there.

It felt so good to go pick up

everybody at two forty five.

That was just that was just amazing.

But we got a great show for y'all,

man.

For those who don't know or who are

going to come back, I'm your host, Jay,

for the evening.

Like always.

What do you do with that?

What do you do with that?

Oh, boy, it's on the way.

Football is on the way.

I got to pull that one back up.

Football is on the way.

I got to pull that out the crate.

If y'all don't know, I am football crazy,

boy.

I get kind of nuts,

but I got my brother Nick Andre in

the building as always from his couch.

Respectfully.

Respectfully.

That's a funny ass clip.

Respectfully.

It's me laughing every time in the

background.

And our big brother,

the best producer in the world,

on the ones and twos, Wiley,

is in the building.

Well, first of all, fuck the kids.

Best clip ever.

That shit cracks me up every fucking time,

dog.

Every time.

Oh, man.

Oh, my God.

That's so funny.

And while we sit here just yapping away,

man, everybody in the chat,

hit the QR code for us, please.

If you're watching, hit the QR code.

If you're not watching,

All these links will be in the description

for y'all.

I'll be forgetting to tell y'all that.

All this stuff is always in the

description.

It doesn't matter if you're on YouTube,

Spotify, Apple.

It doesn't matter.

Everything is in the description for you.

What else I got for y'all?

What else?

Anything else going on?

Anything else I need to point out?

I don't think so.

Y'all got anything?

How was y'all weekend or week?

So far.

It was pretty cool, honestly.

This weekend was cool.

I pretty much just chilled in the crib.

It was probably my first time I've been

in the crib like this probably from like

a month ago, probably.

Because I've been on the go literally for

the past three weeks,

like going to Chicago and then being here

running errands.

So I got a chance to chill.

So I'm happy about that.

Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Ain't nothing wrong with that at all.

Wally, how about you, man?

Your boy constantly breaking down.

I had to go get a damn.

So I told you all about my instance

with my back.

So I got my injections last week.

Tell me why I wake up yesterday at

three a.m.

and I am in pain from my hip

down.

So I had to hit the pain clinic

up that day and my pain clinic doctor

told me to come through and I had

to get a shot yesterday.

so I can calm that down.

So I'm good now, but boy,

I don't know.

Oh yeah, I know what it was.

I put together a vinyl holder.

I bought Erica a bigger vinyl holder.

So she's sitting at one, what is it,

one-twenty-one?

Hundred-twenty-one vinyls.

So I had to buy her something bigger.

So I put that together and of course

being hunched over,

fucking putting the screws in and stuff.

That triggered my back.

But, you know, ice it down,

heat and pad, we're straight.

But, yeah, I woke up that morning,

and I was like, yo,

what the hell is going on?

So, of course, got me a shot yesterday.

I'm good now.

That's all that matters.

Boot camp started back yesterday, so...

That's probably what happened.

You deal with that boot camp too.

Boot camp just started yesterday.

That's why I was like,

I haven't even done anything.

I haven't really strenuously worked out.

The most I've done is run.

That's it.

That running boy.

I actually miss running.

I love slash hate loaded.

It should be killing me.

Right.

I do, too.

I have a love-hate relationship.

Yeah, I can't.

Sometimes, like, I love it,

but I be hating it, too.

Yeah, like, I mean,

I just like running around.

I'm not doing no law on this run.

Them days, that shit's over with.

Like,

I'm just going to get on a bike,

but I'm just, well, y'all know,

I'm just mad.

I'm just missed just never just take off

and run.

Like, there's none of that shit going on.

Don't worry.

You're going to get back there, brother.

Oh, yeah, I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

Oh, also, I got a Duke dog update.

He is fully home trained.

He going to piss out and shit outside.

Yeah.

Y'all can't tell me shit, man.

I didn't potty train four boys and a

puppy.

Y'all can't.

You can't tell me a goddamn thing.

To train four boys and a puppy is

hilarious.

You can't tell me shit.

But let's get into this show.

Before we get into our conversations,

our brother Wiley,

we got a topic we're going to talk

about real quick.

He got to get some shit off his

chest.

One moment, y'all.

Oh, Lord.

Oh, shit.

It's that time.

I'm just being extra.

So, of course,

y'all know the news that has taken over

the WNBA.

It's the whole trends, the so-called.

We're going to throw air quotes in this.

Yeah.

the transgender issue,

that's pretty much a made up issue if

you're tracking and following along.

So we have two dumbasses that decided they

wanted to be,

we'll call it the spectacle of this whole

bullshit that we got going on here.

I'm not calling this nigga Enos Freedom.

Your name is Cantor.

Your mama name you Cantor,

I'm going to call you Cantor.

Enos Cantor.

That's it.

You pull up in a WNBA hoodie with

the Nike check crossed out because you

still on your bullshit with Nike and that

whole debacle that you tried to run game

and it didn't work.

um so you call yourself entering the

putting your your name in for the uh

wmba draft for next year saying that

you're you're trans or at least you're

you're uh supposedly trans you you a whole

ass dude shut up you and and and

Royce White, which first of all,

I don't even know.

Nick, why are you here?

You know they still have to get on

airplanes, right?

Right.

That's what I thought when I saw that.

He don't like planes.

And then you lose today in the state

of Minnesota.

You losing that today.

Damn, who did he lose to?

She used to work at ESPN.

Fuck.

I don't know.

Michelle Tafoya.

He lost to Michelle Tafoya,

former ESPN analyst.

Where were they competing at?

For the Minnesota seat for Minnesota.

Oh, okay.

It's political.

Okay.

Yeah.

Political.

Political.

Yeah.

And Jay, Jay lens, you,

you spot on dog.

You for Roy's white,

you can't see your wife,

your ex wife or kids for the next

five years.

So why, again, why are you here?

This is crazy.

Oh no, I do.

Yeah.

I've known, I knew about all this shit.

That's why I was like, dog,

why are y'all here?

but again all of this is all of

this if you are reading between the lines

which majority of the motherfuckers are

not because y'all are a part of said

y'all are a part of said group that

I would not name on the show y'all

are a part of said group that is

championing this bullshit and the thing is

All of this is a cover up for

the Epstein files.

It's a cover up and a distraction for

the midterms.

So y'all please go and vote in y'all

midterm.

All of this shit is a distraction.

None of this shit.

All of this is bullshit.

So for these, for out of all people,

these, these two motherfuckers,

these two of all people, I would tell,

I would tell Enos to go back from

where he's from, but he can't.

You can't.

You can't.

You can't go home.

I...

Again,

I'm going to keep this as politically

correct as possible.

But again,

this is just more so to put shame.

We got to bring shame back, y'all.

Shame these motherfuckers.

Shame these two motherfuckers who think

that... So here's the funny part.

Y'all are claiming to be trans.

The group that y'all are in support of

or think that y'all have support of

They don't like them.

They don't like this particular group,

unfortunately.

This is very true.

This is not the route you want to

take.

Like I said,

I wanted to put this part out here.

I wanted to shame these two motherfuckers

because they need to be shamed.

They need to be shamed.

I'm going to make sure I clip this

and tag these two motherfuckers because...

Shame it.

We have to continue to shame these

motherfuckers.

Like, the game, this game, this league,

which don't get me started with the...

with the top level execs of the W.

But this league is,

the fan base is so extensive.

And we saw that when we went to

Chicago.

Every color, every race, every gender,

whatever it is, they love the WNBA.

They root for these players.

They root for these teams.

So for y'all to fucking stick y'all

fucking noses in this shit, again,

why are y'all motherfuckers here?

And even for like the Emmanuel Achos,

the LaShawn McCoys.

Anytime I see Emmanuel Acho,

I don't never take him seriously.

And

He be buying views,

so that's another thing.

And he took over a YouTube channel that

was already...

That was already ready-made.

Yeah, so I don't even listen to him.

But for them,

even for those motherfuckers,

the only time we hear y'all talk about

the W is when it's some bullshit.

It's never... Again,

it's never about the game.

It's never.

Never.

I'm trying to think what outlet out of

them YouTube people that actually be...

say anything.

I don't think none of them do.

If it's not the women of ESPN who

actually cover the game of basketball,

all these other motherfuckers,

the Stephen A's, your damn Shannon Sharps,

all y'all motherfuckers Club Club Five

Twenty.

Y'all motherfuckers,

y'all will talk about it,

but y'all don't watch.

And listening to y'all talk about it lets

me know y'all don't want,

and y'all right there in Indy.

Yeah, we did.

Which baffles the fuck out of me.

So just to end this,

to put a bow on this, man,

fuck Enos and Royce.

Fuck both of y'all.

Fuck Stephen A. Fuck Shannon Sharpe.

Fuck Emmanuel Adjo.

Fuck everywhere.

Fuck LeSean McCoy.

Anybody that does not watch this game,

that does not watch the game of the

WNBA,

fuck all y'all because y'all just be up

here talking.

Y'all not watching the game.

Y'all just talking because y'all know it's

going to get clicks.

Yep.

That's all.

That's the only reason.

That's all I got.

Let's get to this show.

I just hate that I've been getting text

messages about this.

People asking, is this shit real?

This shouldn't even be a conversation.

It really shouldn't.

At all.

I hate that I even have to answer.

No, man.

There's no way.

Come on.

Again, it takes away from

It takes away from shows like us and

the shows that actually put in the work

and that enjoy the,

not only enjoy the game,

but love talking about the game and

giving,

giving these women's their flowers.

it puts a damper on us because you

got these motherfuckers who have,

who have the,

the so-called status because they're,

they're famous.

You got more.

Yeah.

You got motherfuckers that are going,

they're going to automatically listen to

them because like you said,

like Nick said, they got the resources to,

to get it broadcast.

So it, it,

it pisses me off because again,

we were over here doing the work while

these motherfuckers are just coming in to

be messy.

Yeah.

Yeah, B.B., like, people breaking records,

like, K-Mac just went crazy,

but I got people asking me about Enos

Cantor.

Like, this is... Come on, dog.

Like, what?

I don't even want to answer this.

And then somebody last night,

but I ended up finding out,

I did my own research on this, like,

it was a joke.

Somebody did this.

It wasn't really... Somebody was saying,

Michael Beasley was saying it, but...

It was basically like people were lying.

He didn't really say no shit like that.

Yeah, I saw that.

Because I'm about to say, if he said,

I know he, I know damn well.

Michael Beasley ain't saying no shit like

that.

Like, come on, man.

But it's just.

This gets me mad because of the leadership

that we have.

Yep.

That's what I said.

The leadership,

and I'm not talking about the WNBPA.

Literally talking about the actual

leadership of, of said WNBA.

Y'all are not doing,

y'all are not doing what y'all are

supposed to do.

This whole task force shit that just

popped up on my phone before we,

before we hit record.

It's all, all of this is,

it's all connected.

And I wish this shit would just go

ahead and fall off the face of the

earth.

So these women can continue to hoop.

And we,

we continue to do the work and, and,

uh,

and continue to give these women their

flowers.

Absolutely.

Damn, you're right, BBK.

Literally, shit pisses me off because,

please,

just ungrow the game at this point.

If we knew it was going to be

like this,

just to put them to get paid more

money, god damn.

What is this?

This is why.

This is what it is.

We give the wrong people a platform to

talk and stuff.

That's the thing.

People who have never been an all-star,

people who have always been known as role

players have a voice,

and I don't understand it.

I was going to say,

niggas that they never picked up the

basketball be talking.

I was like, you can't hoop.

You can't hoop right now.

I was like,

again why why are y'all here yes is

even but even me being on a on

the podcast right now maybe i'm about to

say this like it's just way too easy

for people to uh to have a podcast

now like it used to be a point

it was hard like it was hard to

set that up it was hard to much

used to be expensive like

it used to be so it used to

be so difficult to even start a pocket

it was difficult to to it should be

an approval process damn near even i'm

sitting next to a pie i'm sitting next

to a podcast pioneer she was what when

you when you start she did tell me

that point

Oh, man, she a decade in.

Okay.

That's funny as hell because when I met

Raina, she had a podcast.

I met her in twenty sixteen.

It was unheard of.

They weren't even doing video.

They was doing straight audio.

It wasn't no my shit is on YouTube

plus this.

Like at this point,

like everybody is just everybody don't

have everybody's want to jump in.

I know it's like we're saying that we

on a podcast,

but we like we take this shit seriously.

A lot of people don't take this shit

seriously.

Like,

it ain't just turn on a mic and

a camera.

And that's how a lot of this shit

be coming off.

And then the wrong people, right,

straight audio back then.

It wasn't no going to see this shit

on YouTube.

Right.

Now they got podcasts on Netflix now and

shit.

Yeah, like, it's getting out of control.

Like, it's just really bad.

And then the people that begin all this,

people be listening to,

they just be saying anything.

Anything.

Cloud chasings.

clickbaits all type of shit so it's just

a lot yes SoundCloud you had a fashion

on SoundCloud sometimes like sometimes it

wouldn't sometimes people she wouldn't

even own Apple would be spotify only yeah

yeah like it wasn't so now it's just

it's just so easy people you can buy

followers you can buy this you can do

this and like he would just be saying

anything but let's talk about some some

real bad yeah

Wow, you closed it already?

Yeah, yeah.

Like I said, fuck all the motherfuckers.

Royce, you don't even like planes.

You don't even came to see your wife

and kid and you worried about you and

women's business.

You averaged the same amount of points

that we are averaging right now.

Yep.

Let that sink in.

Yep, pretty much.

All right, man.

Let's talk about some real basketball

before we really just start cussing out

people.

The big news over the weekend, right?

Yeah, I think so.

I know it's Wednesday, y'all,

but we got things to take care of,

but we're going to talk about it now.

But Nadja Lady Hamilton was waived by the

Liberty.

Yeah, August six.

And she got picked up by the Washington

Mystics.

I love the move.

But before I get,

I'm going to hand it off to Nick.

I know me and Wabi know a lot

of talking already.

I'm going to hand it off to you,

Nick.

What was your thoughts on New York waiving

her

then her landing with the mystics um i'm

glad it happened well i'm glad it happened

but i'm not glad that it happened i'm

glad that it happened because clearly she

wasn't getting no minutes but the one

thing that i hate about it is that

like you gotta think benaja laney was with

new york since twenty twenty one so she

was there literally at the beginning it

was her sabrina and a couple other people

so she had been there even before stewie

got there even before jonquil got there

before they really established themselves

in the championship team

and then you saw her continuously evolve

over time i mean yeah i know that

she was the most improved player even

before that when she was i believe she

was with atlanta when she won that award

but you saw her just gradually evolve and

improve over that time you know and just

also being able to adapt as well because

in those beginning years she was the

second option for the liberty behind

sabrina and then you have stewie come in

you got john quill come in

So now you're not even a top three

option at this point,

but she found a way to adapt within

that team, you know,

being able to bring her defensive

presence, but then also being able to,

you know, score the basketball,

what her number is called.

And I've even said, like,

she was a big piece to that championship

team a couple years ago,

especially with the way that she was

playing defense.

And you like you felt her presence being

missed last year.

I mean,

because even though even though even

though New York ended up still making the

playoffs,

but you could tell like when they went

up against Phoenix,

like they missed that defensive anchor.

They missed that defensive identity that

Benaja lady had brought to the table.

So now fast forward, you know,

you got a new situation.

Kristen Markle gets hired on.

And for some reason,

she's not getting any playing time.

And it's just so funny because, you know,

media members would ask him in the press.

They're like, hey,

why is it Benadja getting minutes?

Why is it Benadja getting minutes?

And it was just always some bullshit-ass

excuse as to, like, why?

Like, there's no update.

Like, Benadja's not hurt.

But Nyjah is clearly showing that she's

ready to play,

but then you got her on the end

of the bench and you're finding some

excuse like, oh, well,

we're trying to figure out our rotation,

this and this and this and that.

Like, the thing about it is that, like,

when you're a head coach and you come

into a situation like the Liberty, like,

you got to look at it like the

Liberty have been contenders since twenty

twenty three.

You don't say you coming in in twenty

twenty six with an established team that I

just won a championship two years prior.

This is not the same situation like for

us,

like if you want to win to go

coach Connecticut and they're and they're

right.

You know what I'm saying?

You're coming into a team that had already

established a winning presence,

but then you also have your core players

there.

So to me,

I feel like you got to figure out

how to come in and try to capitalize

off of that.

But for some reason, he hasn't, honestly.

With that being said,

I'm glad that she's gone.

You know, when the news broke,

I was super happy.

I thought that she was going to be

dealt at the trade deadline,

but unfortunately she wasn't.

And I was actually pretty shocked that she

got picked up by the Misses.

Like, I was exploring, like,

some different teams.

I know a lot of people wanted her

to go to Vegas.

I was also thinking about the possibility

of her going to Indiana, you know,

being one of their wing players,

especially, you know,

being able to provide perimeter defense

because that's one place, like, I mean,

that's one area that Indiana has struggled

at this season.

But I think the Mystics is great,

honestly, and I'll be real.

Like,

when I saw that she got picked up

by the Mystics, I was like, damn, like,

who was their veteran before Bonaja got

there?

Like,

I think the oldest player is Mikayla

Oyawera, and I think she's, like,

or something like that.

Yeah, how old is Shakira?

How old is Shakira Austin?

I was like, Shakira might be the age,

like, twenty-five, twenty-six.

She's been in it for, like,

I think four or five years.

But I'm thinking, I'm like, damn, like,

it's crazy to see how good this team

is.

They don't even have a veteran on the

floor.

Or even, like, or even on the bench.

So now you add on a Benaja Laney,

who is now a former champion.

and who understands, you know,

how to win at the highest level, like,

that's going to be great for them.

And, hell, I loved it.

Even,

I can't remember who they played on

Sunday, but you saw, even, like,

before the game, like,

Benadja in the huddle, like,

already talking with the team, like,

you know what I'm saying,

providing the wisdom.

Like, I love that.

And even in her first game last night

against, I guess, the Aces, you know,

she played fourteen minutes,

had about six points.

Like,

you can already see the impact that she

has, honestly.

So,

With the Mystics now,

because I want to say they're still at,

I want to say they're still the sixth

seed right now, currently.

Yeah, yes.

Yeah,

so you look at what they were able

to accomplish even before Benaja got

there.

Now you add on a Benaja, who obviously,

you know,

it's probably going to take some time for

her, you know, to really get adjusted.

And I even told y'all this too.

I told y'all this in the group chat.

They got a chance at finishing top four.

Honestly, when you think about it,

it's them, it's Indiana, Atlanta,

New York, and Dallas.

They're all kind of in that same realm,

honestly,

as far as kind of all having the

same record.

A couple teams are a game or two

back.

I'm thinking, I'm like, yo, like,

when you look at how well the Mystics

have been playing as of recently,

and right now they're the sixth seed,

like, there's a chance they could,

there's a chance that they could be the

fourth seed,

so I'm happy that Bernard is with this

new team now,

and I think they're just going to do

really good with the Mystics.

It does.

Also, I'm going to ask you this.

They did have to waive Roy.

They brought him back on the developmental

contract spot,

but does it feel like that was a

wasted pick because it was like,

Roy ain't doing nothing.

Like, I know you brought him back,

but it was like,

You know what I'm saying?

Right.

I don't really know, honestly,

because it's like you said to me,

I like Roy Harmon.

I really do.

but I don't know if like,

she's really going to have like a true

home on this team,

especially at the point guard position.

I mean, I know that she's,

I know that she's a solid player.

Don't get me wrong,

but you got to think she's also

undersized.

Like she can score the basketball,

but it's like,

how well is she going to score the

basketball in this league?

Now,

especially going up against bigger guards.

Um,

So I don't know, honestly, because,

I mean,

right now you got Georgia Amor there.

You got the other girl.

I keep forgetting her name,

the backup point guard.

She's from overseas.

I can't remember her name off the top

of my head.

But you already have those two pretty much

running the fort.

So there really isn't any space, honestly,

for Roy Harmon, unfortunately.

So I don't know, man.

I mean,

it still seems like Sidney Johnson still

likes her and really believes in her.

But I just don't know what her future

looks like with this team.

I think he said,

I'll play Roy over Amor.

Amor was picked too high.

She was picked too high for sure.

I get it.

But I will say this, though, too,

because I definitely have my questions

about Georgia Amor,

not from a scoring standpoint,

but just from a playmaker standpoint.

And she's not there yet,

but I have seen her.

continuously improve as a decision maker,

which obviously she has to.

I mean,

especially when you're playing on the

floor next to Sonya Citron,

Kiki Iria-Fenn, Shakira Austin.

So you have to adjust, honestly,

especially as far as being the floor

general.

So I will give her some credit, honestly.

Oh, yeah.

The other guard is Alicia Flores.

Appreciate that.

I like her a lot.

Honestly,

my preference is I would have her start.

That's me.

You need a bigger point.

I responded to you,

I think it was yesterday,

yesterday or today,

when you were talking about the

Mississippi.

I was like, dog,

they're a point guard away.

Only they had a point guard right now.

And, again, nothing against Georgia Amar,

but right now you have a lot of

work to do,

and your main issue is that you keep

turning the ball over.

And with the team that Washington has

right now,

they need a floor general at the very

– don't need you to necessarily score,

but we need you –

We need you to get out there and

be the floor general.

Make sure you, you know,

make the right play.

Make sure everybody's doing what they're

supposed to do on the floor.

Like,

be that extension of the coach as a

point guard should.

Ain't it funny how a lot of teams

in the NBA go through the same situation?

Ain't it funny how positionless basketball

is fucking up franchises right now?

Because they thought,

and teams in the W starting to do

the same thing,

everybody think just because you know how

to create a basket that you know how

to run point.

That's completely different.

Running point and being able to create

your own shot is not the same thing.

And so many teams we talk about,

we be like, they're a point guard away.

They're a point guard away.

That's a lot of these teams' problem.

You saw Georgia Amore.

in college and i'm with stefan too like

i try to get her grace because she

did tara acl and you know i know

a lot of people be coming back kind

of quick from that but sometimes people

still be uh um recovering from that it

could take a little bit but she was

already a small guard she wasn't like

In college, you can do that shit.

You can damn near do that point guard

by committee shit sometimes in college.

You just be the ball hand.

You just take over.

That shit's just not going to work in

the W when you got scrappier guards and

guards that are stronger.

I was about to say, bigger, stronger,

faster.

Absolutely.

I try to get her grace as well,

but the problem is when you get drafted.

That's the kind of thing with HVL.

When you get drafted,

people start judging you

a little bit differently.

If Georgia Amor got drafted in the second

or third round,

I don't think it'd be a big deal

with her right now.

You know what I'm saying?

Was she like top four, five, six,

six or some shit like that?

Let me check.

She was hot.

I think she was at least top ten.

Yeah, she was definitely top ten.

I want to say she was better than

five or six or some shit like that,

but when you get picked in them ranges...

And then you turn your ACL in camp.

I think she might have been four or

five, to be honest.

She was top three?

No way.

No, she was six overall.

Okay, I was about to say.

Top three would have been fucking wild,

dog.

Yeah, I was like, I don't remember that.

But, yeah, I know it was like four,

five, six range.

So, like,

when you get top six like that,

then you turn your ACL,

and it's like – and people was already

questioning the pick in the first place.

So, I mean –

That's really killing them right now,

what's going on in Washington.

So I try to give her grace to

see if she improves,

but

You ain't going to get taller.

But also, like,

the thing about it is that, like,

I understand that she is more of a

scoring guard.

She's always been like that.

But also, like,

she should already know how to adapt

playing next to other great scorers

because she's also been around other great

scorers as well.

Like,

you look at her first couple years at

Virginia Tech,

she was playing next to Liz Kittley.

She was the number one option for that

team.

Virginia Tech literally ran that offense

through her.

So I feel like Georgia Amar should already

understand, like,

how to adapt playing –

next to other league scores especially

considering that they're post players like

for instance like even on the mystics

there's a mystics team you got shakira

austin you got a kiki area finn but

then also off the bench you got lauren

betts so you know what i'm saying you're

like you're gonna be playing like you're

playing with players who are talented

enough as post players to where the office

can run through them honestly because

let's just be real like when office is

running through kiki or sonya on the block

like it opens up a lot of perimeter

opportunities for uh for the mystics

So, that's the thing as well, though.

It's like I said, like,

I understand that she's always been a

scoring guard,

which I will give her credit.

She's always been a talented scorer,

but I feel like she should already have

learned how to, like, how to, like,

adapt playing next to, like,

other elite scorers,

especially ones that are post players.

For sure.

And you've had...

We can stop talking about the whole

Washington team.

We can stop talking about the match.

No, it's fine.

But, uh, go ahead.

I was gonna say,

and you've even during that time frame

that you while you were injured,

while you

while you were recovering,

that's the perfect time to watch and see,

check the tendency, you know,

find the tendencies of your teammates,

like know where they like to catch the

ball, like what's their spots,

how they like to catch the ball,

things of that nature.

So at the very least you have an

idea

and then once you get back to on

once you get on the floor now okay

at the very least i know where they

like where their spots are now let me

figure out how how i can work to

get them the ball in those spots um

but yeah back uh but um with benaja

man uh

I'm really,

I'm just glad that she's playing

basketball again because she's been

dealing with these knee injuries,

the meniscus surgery,

like when she's missing unrivaled.

A lot of players,

a lot of people that ain't even seen

Benaja play in forever.

They don't even know how good of a

hooper she really is.

Didn't she get hurt in a rival?

I think it was in a rival she

got hurt.

Yeah, yeah.

She got hurt there.

So I think this is going to help

a lot.

I think, hold on, Jeremy said,

What do you guys think the addition of

Banaja can do for her development of Cody

and even Prosper or how do you say

it?

Dougalich?

Dougalich.

I think it's going to help a lot

because kind of how, especially Cody,

the way Banaja play and how she do

other things besides scoring,

I think Cody can do that.

I think Cody can be that type of

player.

And like Nick said,

I didn't even think about

her being a vet on this team.

Like, I didn't, you know what I'm saying?

Like, I didn't think about that at all.

I think it can help even prosper.

Like, y'all know me.

Another player I can add, too, Sonya.

I think Sully can benefit tremendously

playing next to Benadja.

Yes,

because Benadja is such a good two-way

player, man.

She's going to have to rebound.

She's going to play some defense.

And she can score when she needs to

score as well.

That's the thing, too,

because I think people forgot how good of

a scorer Benadja can be.

It's just that she played next to Stewie,

Jonquell, and Sabrina.

So she didn't have to score the

basketball.

But when her number was called,

she could score it.

And she can stretch the floor.

She can shoot that thing.

Yeah, she can shoot.

She can shot create, too.

Yeah, so...

The Liberty don't get that championship

without her.

Literally.

They do not.

So,

I know that I saw Jay Lynn's talking

about Jonathan Cole days of number.

I think that was him who said that.

Yeah.

But I think, hey, man,

I think it's looking ugly in New York,

man.

Like, you losing identity out there.

You...

Like, you losing something with that.

You need that.

And now you got this coach and then

this – and the GM just – it's

like he's doing whatever out there.

So,

to lose her and get nothing for her.

That's the part that – That's the part

that sucks.

Like,

that's why they should have done it at

the deadline.

I'm sure there was a team that would

have traded for it.

My thing is, how bad do –

Did you want her to be off this

team?

I think that's part of it.

Now, I know you got some team.

All teams going to try you.

That's just part of the game.

They're going to try you and see what

they can,

if they can get away with something as

far as... A good GM going to try.

Yeah.

My theory,

and I know I use this for the

NBA,

but this goes across any sports landscape.

The game is to find the dumbest GM.

That's it.

And make them an offer.

You find it.

Why do you think Danny AJ has been

able to do the shit that he's been

able to do in Boston and now in

Utah?

Why do you think that certain teams are

able to do the thing?

Because they know who the dumb GMs are

and what to ask for at the very

least.

And then at the very least,

if you can get your foot in the

door,

then you start making adjustments to

whatever trade that you're trying to make.

I mean, I know I'm simplifying it,

and it's a lot more work.

It's a lot more work into it.

But, again, to me, it's not that hard.

No, that's basically what it is.

Jeremy, you got the questions tonight,

boy.

Yeah, you got a few, bro.

Does Liberty regret the Satu signing?

I think that is what caused the tension

with Banaja because Satu took her spot.

I didn't try to hear that, man.

You could have played them both.

You could have played them both, man.

Come on now.

A smart coach can get it done.

I do.

Don't even bring her back at this point.

You talking about Satu?

I'll be real.

Like,

I don't know what is going to happen

with her in the future, honestly,

because this concussion sounds bad.

And you got to think, too,

this is her second concussion in, like,

less than a year because she dealt with

a concussion in the finals.

It ain't even been a year since the

finals.

No, yeah, no.

She is not... Like,

is her heart into it right now?

Like, dealing with a concussion this long,

like,

how many games has she played this year?

Two?

I don't know.

It hasn't been a lot because remember,

she missed the first part of the season.

Yeah.

And I don't know.

Man,

I don't know what the hell's going on

with concussions in the W anyway right

about now because what the hell is y'all

doing in practice?

Every time I look up,

somebody got a damn concussion or a head

injury.

Like, what the hell is y'all doing?

Like, calm down.

Y'all need red jerseys on?

Don't touch them?

Like, what the hell is going on?

Treat them like a quarterback?

Treat them like a quarterback.

What the hell is going on in practice?

Every time I look up, somebody, like,

it was crazy for a minute,

but

New York is in... Hey, man,

New York is in a weird spot, but...

I ain't seen her smile this big in

a long time.

Nah, she's showing all thirty-two.

Yes.

Showing all thirty-two.

Just real quick, back to the Liberty.

After watching them last night and how

they lost against Indiana,

I'm starting to lose hope in them.

It's like... That was bad.

It made me realize this team really has

not progressed this season.

Stewie's been cooking this year.

Stewie's had a great year.

Sabrina's had some good moments.

But as a team,

this team has not shown a lot of

improvement.

I know that I said, hey,

they can still finish top five,

especially with the talent and the roster

that they do have,

but

it's not looking good for them man and

i don't i don't like i really want

to know what this future what like what

the future of the franchise looks like

because i don't know they don't like have

no nasty in them nah hey there was

a player that provided the nasty but hey

they didn't want a player they didn't want

a player like they don't they don't have

i think i saw jay land say it

earlier like they got a bunch of finesse

europeans on their squad they ain't got no

dog in them they

There you go.

We don't got no dogs.

No.

Like, you need that.

To win a championship, man,

you got to have some nasty.

Man, Tony,

I forgot about the damn USA roster.

We got time.

I think we might pull it up.

Right.

But also, real quick,

I don't know if we're going to the

next topic,

but I'm going to just say this straight

up, yo.

Chris DeMarco got to go ASAP.

ASAP.

I don't want to see this man on

the sideline next year.

I just don't.

It'll be so nasty if he's still there,

bro.

No, yeah,

because the only way you bring him back,

they hoisting the trophy.

That's the only way you bring him back.

Even then, his ass could still go,

because remember,

they were about to get rid of Sandy,

too.

They were about to get rid of Sandy,

but nah.

Cobb said that shit, though.

Cobb said that, like,

she was already on the hot seat before

they won a championship,

so she basically was, like,

walking dead at that point after that

year,

but

I don't even think this team,

he did look bad, man.

And like I always say,

like I always say with any sport,

I'm all for needing a new voice with

coaches.

Sometimes that happens.

But you got to make the right choice

after that coach.

Like Sandy had her issues.

Sandy people had her gripes with Sandy.

But you can't go from Sandy to Chris

DeMarco.

And look at what Sandy got going on

in Toronto.

You know what I'm saying?

You can't do that.

You can't just think,

I got players like Stewie, JJ, Sabrina,

but not at that time,

and that we can just get any coach.

It don't work like that.

From the jump,

we said what that man said.

Basically,

he had no idea about women's basketball.

I don't know how to exact quote,

but he definitely said that shit in the

press conference on his own mouth.

When we said that is not a good

look, people said we were tripping.

And I knew we weren't tripping when that

shit was going down.

As Lo says, we're never wrong.

We're just early.

We're just early.

Every time.

It's looking nasty, but man,

shout out to the Mystics, man.

That's a fun team over there.

How long is her contract?

She got waived,

so they just have to pick her up

for, like,

what they sign for the rest of the

season, basically, type of thing.

Is she going to be a free agent?

Yeah, that's right.

I'm thinking it's a trade or some shit.

Duh.

It was a waive.

So, man, hopefully,

I would love to see her back there

again and stay there with them if that's

possible.

I think, you know, especially, like,

I mean,

I think especially with the way that this

season has turned out for them,

I could definitely see her possibly

staying after this year.

Yeah, like keep her there, man.

Like that's like a piece they need.

Like I said earlier,

I was not thinking about her being the

vet.

That's a good vet to have.

She got all the experience.

She didn't see it at all.

She got all the experience in the world

to help them through situations.

And because they've been going to some,

they ain't never been in the playoffs.

Were they in the playoffs last year?

The Missing, no, they weren't.

So they about to get into some battles

they ain't never been in.

And this stretch going down,

battling for spots,

they ain't never been in.

They going to be a tough out, too.

They going to be a tough out.

That's why I tweeted this, too.

I was like, look,

I'm not saying that the Missing can win

a first-round series,

but whoever has to face them,

they going to have some problems, man.

And they going to feel that shit going

to the next round.

And look,

don't let them get the fourth seed,

because if they the fourth seed,

that means they got home court advantage.

Yes.

Yes.

That's going to be a hard team.

As KG once said,

you ever been in a bar fight?

Yeah.

That's what it's going to be.

And they already have some nasty to them.

They already have some nasty to them.

And you get Benaja too,

who got some nastier?

Please.

That's going to be a hard scene.

That's going to be a fun scene,

whatever they get in that.

If they get that poor scene,

that's going to be ugly for somebody.

They can fuck around, you know,

Anything can happen in the playoff series.

The right matchup,

you fuck around and get up out of

here quickly.

Big time.

But we're going to move on to a

struggling-ass team.

We're right about now after the All-Star

break.

They just won tonight,

so that kind of helps.

It does help, but the Dallas Wings, man,

they won tonight,

but they've been struggling.

July twenty-ninth, they lost to the Dream.

Eighty-two, eighty-one.

The thirty first they lost to the Mystics.

Eighty one seventy five.

Then August second,

they got dubbed by the Connecticut Sun of

all teams like that is the last thing

they got.

No, they got they won that game.

Oh, they did.

They did win that game.

I'm sorry, Dallas.

I did win that.

They got they got cooked by the Valkyries.

That's right.

I switched the names of the Valkyries.

Then they dubbed them.

Ninety-four, seventy-six,

they lost to the Mystics,

and they lost to the Lynx.

I mean,

you can't really be mad at that,

but they won tonight.

That kind of helps.

But they've been struggling, man.

We're going to throw them into the pot

of, I just don't understand y'all,

like Atlanta and Indiana and shit like

that.

But, man, Nick,

what's your thoughts on Dallas right now?

Um,

I think they're just going through some

growing pains.

You got to think I mean,

this is a new team.

And not only this is a new team,

this is a this is a new team

that's pretty much trying to really figure

out their identity as far as, you know,

really building around the young players.

Like, I mean,

you got to think I mean,

Paige Beckers is the franchise player at

this point,

like she's the number one option,

everything runs through her.

So I think, you know,

this is obviously a new situation for her

as a franchise player,

but then also for a lot of

for a lot of the other players too

because i mean there's a lot of sacrifices

that have to be made like for instance

like if you're a player like erika

gumawali who's used to getting a lot of

shots and really being the focal point

offensively i mean yes she still has

moments where she is but she's not

necessarily like the primary option

anymore in dallas uh but then also at

the same time like you know like i

think a lot of players are still trying

to find their identity and still getting

accustomed honestly so

Like, I still have hopes in Dallas.

Like, obviously not to win a championship,

but I still think that, you know,

that they're a pretty solid team.

And then also, at the same time,

injuries don't help as well because

obviously AZ Foot has missed time.

And I'll be real,

when I was watching the game against

Minnesota the other day, I was like, damn,

like...

they really do miss AZ.

And you really see the value that she

brings to this team, even as a rookie,

honestly.

Not just being able to score the

basketball,

but just being able to be a really

great perimeter defender, you know,

being able to get it past the lanes,

being able to have active hands, like,

and also being able to use her

physicality.

So I think that's,

I think her presence has been a big

loss for them.

Alicia Clark,

who has missed some time now as well,

you know, she's obviously, you know,

a key veteran for that team.

But then also, at the same time, too,

like, Coach Jose, like,

Some of these decisions,

I'm not really buying, honestly.

I didn't understand the move to put Alana

Smith back in the starting lineup and take

Awok Huir out.

Awok was playing phenomenal basketball.

I felt that she really played well and

thrived well next to the other starters.

but they went with that adjustment.

I didn't really understand that because

Atlanta has been one that's been

struggling all year long,

especially after the season that she just

had last year in Minnesota.

So I didn't really understand that,

but I don't know.

I just feel like this is kind of

still a new situation for Dallas.

And even like before the season,

like I talked about it, like,

like with this new team like i just

didn't know like where they were where

they will be placed in the standings

because when you look at them on paper

they could easily be top five when you

look at the level of talent that they

do have but how will all of this

mesh together and will they be able to

find that consistency and i think them

Being in this funk right now is the

reason why they're the eighth seed.

Can they possibly move up?

I definitely believe so.

Even outside of them,

there's other inconsistent teams.

Atlanta is inconsistent.

Indiana is very inconsistent as well.

I'll say fourth through eighth is going to

continue to fluctuate just because teams

are still trying to figure themselves out.

They're going through a lot of growing

pains themselves.

I still do think that it's possible for

the Wings to, you know,

get a higher seed,

but they're going to have to figure

something out soon,

especially with the season, you know,

coming down to an end.

Yeah, and since you did mention Arike,

and I'm seeing people talking about her in

the chat, we was all, like,

scratching our heads, like, man,

why are they bringing her back?

I just want to give her props to

the point where we ain't heard no nothing

about her

in the locker room or having an attitude

about a lesser role or nothing.

Like, I just want to give her,

cause we all figured like,

this is not going to work out well

at all.

But, I mean, and that's the thing, too,

because, like, I'll give her credit, like,

as a veteran for understanding, like, hey,

like, I got this player, Paige Beckers,

here, and she's a dog.

Like, you know what I'm saying?

She's a lead on both ends of the

floor.

Like, she can really lead this team.

Like, so, if I'm Arika, I'm thinking,

like, okay, cool.

Like,

if I want to put myself in position

to continue to win and then possibly win

a championship, like,

this is probably the best move is to

run through her,

and then I'll just play off of her

and have my moments as well occasionally.

Mm-hmm.

Like,

I just want to shout her out because...

she could have easily just been like,

not with this shit at all whatsoever.

Like, this is still my squad.

And I feel like she's really letting it

be like, this is Paige's squad now.

But I know I can get mine.

This is Paige's team.

You know what I'm saying?

Like, she's really doing,

I got to give her props because this

is,

she could have did what a girl did

in Vegas.

She could have been acting a plum ass.

You know what I'm saying?

That's exactly who I was thinking about,

too.

When you first started talking about this

whole Enrique thing,

that's the first thing I thought about.

She could have been like Kennedy.

She could have been just like that in

press conferences, talking about,

I want to be shooting the ball.

I want this shit to run through me

and doing this.

She could have been doing that.

Yeah, her contract helps as well.

The contract definitely helps, but still,

a player firing like Enrique,

and she's been that girl from high school

Notre Dame, then she being with Dallas.

She's been that number one.

But she, in her mind, realized, hey,

Paige is a different type of animal that

I'm okay with.

And she's still going to get her baskets

because Paige, we still be like, damn,

Paige,

stop passing the block and go get busy.

So it's like she still knows she's going

to get hers.

So I just want to salute her for

that because that helps Dallas that she's

not having no locker room turmoil.

Now,

anything can happen when it comes to the

playoffs, but I don't think,

I think that she's in,

I think she's good with how everything is

going.

But shout out,

I just want to give a shout out

to her because I've noticed that shit,

for sure,

because she can definitely be in another

way.

You can definitely, like you said,

you can definitely tell that they're

missing AZ Fudd and Jessica Shepard.

When you have an automatic double-double

And borderline walking triple-double,

that's not in the game.

That's a lot that you have to –

that you got to cover,

that you got to cover.

So hopefully when they get those two

pieces back,

everything will kind of shift back to a

norm for them,

and hopefully they're able to cause a

little bit of disruption in the standings.

Of course,

they still need to – they got to

do better as far as protecting the paint

because they've been getting –

They've been giving up the cheeks and the

paint.

Not the cheeks.

They've been giving it up.

What the hell made you say that, dog?

Hey, dog.

What the hell?

What's on his mind, dog?

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God.

Oh, man.

It's hot.

I'm a little wet here.

Right.

No, this wouldn't, look,

this wouldn't happen to shoes here.

No, but.

What made you go with that first?

Yeah, that fuck face.

Whoa.

I think we all made the same face

he made when Tyler said that first.

Yeah, yeah, he's like, yo.

Yo, wait a minute.

Why that verse?

That's what came to your head?

Oh, man.

In all seriousness.

In all seriousness.

They definitely have to do a better job

of protecting the paint.

And closing possessions.

Like, you have to,

whether it's on defense,

especially on defense, like,

once you make, you know,

you get –

You get a stop.

You do everything to get said stop.

You got to get that defensive rebound.

That's why for them in particular,

gang rebounding has to happen.

Everybody needs to crash the boards on

defense.

So I think once they lock in on

the defensive side of things,

The offensive side,

we know what they can do.

So there's no need to really discuss that

part of it.

It's just more so handle everything on the

defensive end.

And then after that,

from an offensive standpoint,

if you can stop the last second decisions

as far as those late shot clock plays,

and get into your offense and make sure

that you're getting those, you know,

getting those plays off a little bit

earlier than normal so you don't have to

resort to kicking it to Arike or kicking

it to Paige and relying on them to

get a bucket for you with five,

you know, with five,

six seconds on the shot clock like that.

That'll help out a lot.

So they're fine.

I feel like they're fine.

Again, once they get healthy again,

I think they'll be good.

When does Stacy and Jessica come back?

Or did they come back tonight?

No, I don't think they played tonight, no.

No, they did.

No.

Yeah.

But also, I mean, just real quick,

back to the whole AZ thing.

Like, I mean,

obviously they missed a presence,

especially scoring a basketball.

But I think the one person that's, like,

really feeling her absence is Paige.

Because I feel like teams are more so

dialing in are really...

making page uncomfortable on the offensive

end scoring the basketball obviously

they're going to do it anyway because it's

page but i think like when you don't

have that extra shooter that extra sniper

because i'll be real like the defense

can't really dial in on page the way

that they may want to when az is

on the floor because that's another

perimeter threat and az is a phenomenal

shooter very consistent shooter so i think

with az being out honestly like that's how

i think that's why you know i think

we've seen uh page um struggle to score

the basketball i mean hell even in this

game tonight against toronto like she was

scoreless in the first half

And I think you got to give credit

to these teams for really dialing in and

really making it difficult for her to

score, honestly.

Like even the game against Golden State,

I don't think she shot the ball well.

She shot pretty well against Minnesota,

but obviously, you know,

they still ended up losing that game.

So I think that's one player that's really

felt the absence of AZ's page just because

of how much pressure AZ could take off

of her as a decision maker and as

a scorer.

Cuz AZ been strapping, boy.

That sucks.

She's been playing some phenomenal

defense.

I still stand by how I felt about

them picking her.

I don't think that- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But she's been playing some good ball.

I definitely,

especially on the defensive side,

she's been playing some good basketball.

But yeah,

I think we all agree Dallas is gonna

be just fine, throwing pain there,

figure that shit out.

Especially when you get healthier things.

What are you at, seven?

Seven?

I'm looking at the rest.

Oh, there are seven.

So luckily, them in New York,

they're safe for the most part because

Portland, you got Portland at nine,

but they're at thirteen and nineteen.

So unless Portland goes on some type of

crazy run or any, we'll say...

really any of these teams outside of

Connecticut and Seattle,

like if any of these teams just so

happen to go on some crazy type run,

then yeah, it'll be cause for concern.

But right now for,

for both Dallas and New York, they're,

They're good for the most part,

but both teams need to kind of turn

it around a bit before the bottom fall

out.

I do think – I think the top

– I think the playoff is kind of

set.

I don't think nobody is from nine to

fifteen is catching – well,

nine to fourteen because Seattle already

been kind of eliminated.

But I don't think nobody is catching

nobody in the top eight at this point.

When you look at the – yeah, Ty,

like at this point,

but –

they're just pretty much fighting for

position.

I only say that because we saw what

happened last year.

What happened?

With the Aces.

Oh, yeah, but ain't nobody.

Now, listen.

I'm not saying that it's going to happen.

I'm just saying anything is possible.

Anything is possible,

but I don't see none of them damn

teams from Phoenix to Toronto doing none

of that shit.

Yeah.

It's just crazy.

It's crazy.

I'm sitting over here laughing because I'm

thinking to myself, like,

y'all know how crazy it is for us

to be sitting over here talking about how

the Liberty are the fucking eighth seed?

Yes.

Like,

they're literally fighting for a playoff

spot right now.

It's nuts.

And I think you had them number one.

I had them as the first seed.

I had them over everybody.

It's crazy to see how, like,

things happen because I actually had

Minnesota missing the playoffs this year.

And they're the one seed.

I had New York as the one seed,

and now they're fighting for a playoff

spot.

It's just nuts.

That really is nuts.

Since we brought up the Aces, good, Ellie,

by you,

it's that time of year again where people

are, you know,

asking questions about the Aces.

And I feel like we do this almost

every year with them,

especially in August.

Like, what's going on with them?

The Asians got,

they had a rough road schedule.

They had, you know, five roads straight.

They went two and three,

I believe it was.

Who did they lose to?

They lost to Chicago that first game.

That was the city table game winner.

Oh, yeah.

Then they lost to Minnesota and then New

York.

But obviously, the New York game,

they didn't play their top players.

Yeah,

we're going to let you get your shit

off about that, too.

We already know what you're talking about.

We already know what time it is.

But, you know,

Are y'all worried about the Aces or just

Rose schedule was just a lot for them?

I'm not really worried, honestly.

I'm not worried either.

No, I'm saying like, I mean,

obviously it's an improvement compared to

last year because last year we didn't know

what the hell was going on with this

team.

Absolutely.

But I think they're fine, honestly.

But also like with that whole scheduling,

like the W got to do better.

Like that was just disgusting how like you

schedule a team on a back-to-back

Plus,

both of them being afternoon games within,

like, twenty-three hours apart.

Like, so there was really no rest time,

no recovery time.

Like,

literally immediately after the Minnesota

game,

they had to get right on the plane,

probably.

Yeah.

And head straight to New York, honestly,

right?

It seems that,

or catch the plane the next morning.

Yeah, it was definitely bad.

I was saying, like, it should be worse,

honestly, because, I mean, you just now,

you're just landing,

and you gotta go straight to the game?

Like, damn.

But, yeah, I mean,

that was just disgusting, honestly.

And, honestly, like,

when you look at it from Becky's

standpoint, like, I didn't, like,

I wasn't mad at her at all for

resting Asia, Jackie, and Chelsea,

honestly.

Because, I mean,

at the end of the day, like,

you got to get your rest.

You got to get your recovery.

Because, I mean, you got to think, like,

we're down the stretch of the season now.

So...

You want to make sure that your best

players are healthy and available for the

playoffs,

especially with a team like the Aces,

who are a dynasty team that are looking

to win their fourth title in the last

five years.

So you got to make sure everything's

locked in, honestly.

So I don't really blame it from that

perspective.

Now, I'll be real.

I mean,

when you look at the road trip as

a whole,

obviously that first game against Chicago,

once again,

I always talk about how the Aces seem

to take the front of the gas in

the fourth quarter.

Especially against them for whatever

reason.

Exactly.

Like, let Chicago come back.

Sidney Taylor.

Now, look,

give credit to Sidney Taylor for hitting

that game winner.

But if you're the aces,

you don't need to put yourself in

situations like that.

Luckily,

they bounced back against Atlanta.

But even that Indiana game was weird

because they were down twenty.

Then Jackie Young went crazy towards the

end of the second quarter.

Literally brought them back.

I think, honestly,

I want to say the Aces went on,

like, a twenty-oh run.

Like,

from the second quarter to the third or

something like that.

Because Indiana just went scoreless,

which is crazy.

Because they were literally getting

everything that they wanted.

Yeah.

But, luckily,

they were able to win that game.

Also, shout-out to the point guard.

Like,

y'all better stop playing with the point

guard.

Stop playing with her.

Like, literally.

Stop playing with her.

Or the first clutch basket, the fourth OT,

then the second one to win the game.

Like,

y'all stop playing with the point guard,

man.

Like,

y'all be calling her Washington shit.

Like, yo...

Y'all really disgust me.

But even in the Minnesota game,

I didn't even sweat that one because it

is crazy too because I even tweeted about

this.

I feel like Minnesota played their best

basketball in the first half.

And the Aces were,

I ain't going to say they played bad,

but they had moments where they were

sloppy.

But it was a four-point game at halftime.

And I want to say Olivia had a

strong first half.

I think she had like Tony or maybe

not Tony.

Maybe not exactly Tony.

But I know she had a really good

first half.

But obviously the second half, you know,

Minnesota ended up pulling away.

But even then I was like, you know,

I'm not even going to sweat this loss

because at the end of the day,

They're playing on the back-to-back.

The schedule is really a disadvantage for

them.

So I'm not even mad at them losing

that game.

And then obviously we saw them end up

losing to New York,

but then also rested all their starters.

But to the main topic we can talk

about to the New York game,

We can talk about number five,

which is Tenaya Latson.

I try to tell y'all, man, look,

at the end of the day.

Go subscribe to that sub set because Nick

put a good article out about her as

well this week.

Yes, absolutely.

Put it out yesterday.

Make sure y'all tap in with that.

But this is what I say, man.

Like with certain players,

like everybody's journey is different.

you know what i'm saying i mean obviously

we were all we were all questioning how

tania dropped to the second round because

like i mean we already knew that when

she went to south carolina her score

numbers were going to drop but when you

look at it from a top perspective she

was still easily one of the top players

in the draft if you ask me so

her dropping to the second round that was

obviously something that we never that we

never uh that we never understood but at

the same time as well like i thought

her going to the sparse team especially

with all the veterans that could benefit

her but

Obviously, Lynn Roberts had other plans,

which is actually crazy because Tenaya

played great in the preseason.

Phenomenal in the preseason.

So you would think like, damn,

she's playing this well in the preseason.

She's going to get some minutes.

She's going to get playing time.

And then they end up bringing Kate Martin

out of nowhere.

Oh, my God.

And then also Chance Gray.

Yeah.

Then also Chance Gray got minutes as well.

Then ultimately, Tanaya got waived.

And I feel like her going to Vegas

is just a perfect situation because I feel

like even with her being here in this

small amount of time,

she fits with that culture, honestly.

You can see her being able to...

I don't know.

I feel like she just meshes well with

the Asias, the Chelseas, the Jackies,

and all the other players.

I just feel like she fits that culture

perfectly.

And on Sunday...

Like, whenever, you know,

the Aces rested their starters, like,

that was her golden opportunity,

and she took advantage of it.

I mean,

even though she did come off the bench,

she still scored twenty points,

shot six and nine from the floor,

and I even tweeted this earlier, too,

as well.

Like, you can... What's that?

I say efficient...

yeah definitely efficient and like i even

tweeted this after the game too i was

like man like you can see how much

tonight's game has grown and matured as an

offensive player because honestly like i

saw how patient she was with the

basketball you don't say not settling you

know finding high quality shots you know

also making the right reads like i think

she made like a a pass out to

the perimeter for uh for a three-point

shot then i also saw her make like

a nice little dump pass to the list

of smith so just being able to make

the right decision with the ball in her

hands was really impressive to me

And I think I give, I'll be right,

I give Josh Staley a lot of credit

for that as well,

because I think her playing with South

Carolina, I mean,

that's the thing is like,

it was a difference, you know,

system wise with her playing at Florida

State and her playing at South Carolina.

Like Florida State was more of a run

and gun team.

And that's why, you know,

Tenaya was always scoring on the break,

you know,

getting a lot of easy transition baskets.

But then you saw in South Carolina how

they were more of a half-court team,

especially with the talent that they had.

Raven Johnson, Joyce Edwards, Medina Oko,

Gotti.

You talk about all those talented players

that they had,

and South Carolina was a more disciplined

half-court team.

And I think that Sanaya did a really

great job adapting to that,

and I think her learning from that.

she was able to apply it even now

the W honestly and even in the game

last night against the Mystics like even

in like the small I think she played

ten minutes in that game but like even

then like you saw the impact you know

she knocked down a big three in the

corner but then also was able to get

defensive stops so I'll be real like the

one thing that I'm loving about Tania is

that she's taking advantage of the

opportunity of the opportunity that's

presented to her and I think I love

how much the team is trusting her like

Becky's trusting her the other players

like Asia and others are trusting her so

I

It's really great to see, man.

I mean, even despite the Aces, you know,

dealing with their struggles over that

road trip, like,

that was probably the one, like, the one,

like, shining point was, like,

just being able to watch Tenaya shine.

Yep.

And we say all that to say we're

not worried about the Aces at all.

Like, they're just one team.

We just know they have another gear that

a lot of teams don't have.

Like, they got a gear, like,

this is going to turn it up.

And also, I mean, just real quick too,

another reason why I'm not really too

concerned about the Aces is I ain't gonna

lie, Jackie Young been on a heater.

Heater.

For the last couple of weeks, honestly,

man.

And I'll be real, like,

one of the biggest things for Jackie to

start the season was her consistency

because obviously, you know,

I think it was a struggle to start

the year because remember she had that

donut game against Atlanta.

Then she had another donut game against

Dallas.

So it was really a struggle for her

to find her footing to start the season.

But now that she's figured it out,

honestly,

if she can carry over that same energy

into the playoffs,

And then you add that with Asia.

And then, of course, you know,

Chelsea coming alive.

Like,

it's going to be hard to beat this

team, man.

Well, my concern is never those three.

Like, they know it.

Yeah,

they know what they're supposed to do.

And it's more so the bench.

If they can get more bench production...

if they can get more bench production,

I don't give a fuck who it's from,

but if they can get more consistent bench

production at the very least when they

have to take Asia out and somebody's able

to put the ball in the damn basket

so she can get a breather,

that's going to take Vegas where they need

to be.

And that's to another championship.

But again, it

that's something for Becky to figure out.

Like, of course we're, we're excited for,

for, uh, Tenaya.

So hopefully she gets,

she gets more playing time.

But as far as for the rest,

for the rest of the seed,

somebody got to step,

somebody got to step the fuck up.

Yeah.

Also,

just one thing that I want to mention

too, this is going back to last night.

Um,

Tenaya was in the game of the fourth

quarter, you know, playing next to Jackie,

Chelsea, Asia.

And I think,

I can't remember who else was on the

floor with them, but, uh,

I get it.

I understand Jewel Lloyd is a veteran.

I understand, you know,

she's more established on his team.

But just me, if I'm Becky,

I'm not subbing Tanaya out for Jewel in

that situation.

I get it.

I know that Tanaya's a rookie.

I get all that.

Tanaya was just playing too well for me.

I'm sorry.

Tanaya was just playing too well at that

point for me.

He came to the car somewhere mad at

the motherfucker that Tanaya asked out

there at a close in.

Yeah.

She over there authoring me like a

motherfucker, bro.

Mad as hell.

She Trey on, what you call it,

on Boys in the Hood.

Yeah, right.

She bad as hell.

Swinging at the ass, bro.

But no, Jewel has been playing bad.

Like,

that's generational decline right there

going on with Jewel Lloyd, for sure.

And it's like, I mean, that's the thing.

I know that we touched on it last

week, me, Wally, and Lo.

But I'm just not understanding, though,

because it's like,

you getting wide open looks.

That's the thing.

Like, bro,

you're playing next to the best player in

the world.

Yeah.

And then on top of that,

you got Jackie, you got Chelsea.

You're not even a top three option in

that lineup.

no so and i get i know people

like well jewel has always been like you

know off the balls or cb she's always

been like a shot creator this and this

and this and now like i'm sorry but

you gotta adapt it is a thing like

when she got traded she should have that

i'm saying like when she got traded to

this team last year she should have

already known what time it was as far

as like what her role would be on

this team you know i'm saying like all

you gotta do is just knock down shots

that's it that's all you gotta do but

even so but even even with that being

said

when you're in with the second squad,

that's your time to shine.

Yeah.

That's your time to shine.

Go do the shit that you know that

you've always done.

But when she gets in with that second

squad, she's doing it.

She's still playing that reserve.

Like, she's still playing reserve to me.

And I'm like, yo, what are you doing?

Get out there and go be the –

I'm not – Say it.

Go be the gold mamba that we know.

The gold mamba.

I ain't gonna lie, man.

Rest in peace to our boy.

Rest in peace to Kobe, but dog,

everybody was giving the mamba name, boy.

I'm about to say, you see,

I didn't want to say it.

Goddamn, man.

Everybody a name, boy.

Goddamn.

Go ahead, boy.

Yeah, go do that.

Like Tiger said, ADK,

ADK on hoping that playoff jewel shows up.

Like,

That's not good enough.

That's not good enough at all.

Yeah, Liz has been playing her ass off.

I love that.

She has.

Come on, man.

Hold up.

Hey, real quick.

Of course, Jeremy,

stay with the questions.

Okay.

Do you guys think that Vegas needs to

start prioritizing the young nucleus of

Latsen

Pesat.

Is it Pesat?

Yeah, Justine Pesat.

Parker and Yamamoto.

Ain't she kind of short?

Yes.

Yeah, she is.

She was cashing threes last night.

She can shoot, though.

She can shoot.

um i think at some point you brought

you might have to lean on that young

nucleus it's it's hard though like the

reason why is because like yes they're

young and they're providing a lot of great

energy but this is still an aces team

that needs that experience especially with

them still being in contention so that's

why it's kind of weird honestly because i

do that was like i do love the

production that they have given but

in playoff situations like and that's the

thing as well because it's like i know

that we get on jewel's ass a lot

but i mean we gotta admit like jewel

did play a lot better in the playoffs

last year especially the finals being able

to knock down shots so it's like if

you're becky you're gonna want to trust

that probably a little bit more just

because of like the situation that you're

in as far as being a team that's

trying to win another championship like

and it's and it's it's one thing to

provide good minutes in a regular season

on a tuesday on a wednesday

But it's a whole nother ball game when

you got to close a series against a

Cheryl Reeve defense.

When you got to go against a,

we talk crazy about Indiana,

but a Stephanie White team.

You got to close in the closing minutes

to close a series.

To close a series is the hardest damn

thing to do is to win that last

game.

And- Yeah, we saw it last year.

Yeah, we saw it last year.

And Becky is not going-

to be going with the young guns like

that.

A lot of coaches are not going to

do that.

Maybe one.

You're going to get maybe one young player

out the bunch,

but you're just not going to get a

whole crew of them that's going to get

that.

Because if you do,

and they fuck up in a moment where

you could have somebody else in,

you're going to be thinking about that

rotation.

all fall.

Until the camp,

until you get back to the playoffs.

You're going to be thinking about that

shit if you lose a series because you

had one of the men.

They're just in a tough spot because they

are a dynasty, pretty much.

You've got the best player in the world,

the GOAT to a lot of people,

that you have a chance to win every

year with twenty-two,

and you've got Jackie and Chelsea.

When you have good young players,

that's cool,

but

It's just a hard spot to be in

when you...

It's not like they're out of the playoffs.

Like, you're in it.

They're the top three seed.

So, they're trying to go back-to-back.

So, it's a hard situation to be in,

for sure.

Right.

And that's the thing, too.

I mean, you know,

especially with the young players,

it's like...

I give them a lot of credit because

they have given, like, good production.

But you can still see, like,

there's areas in the game that they have

to grow in, honestly.

I mean, even for Tanaya, like,

as good as Tanaya has been playing, like,

there were certain moments where she

wasn't in the right spot, you know,

to catch the basketball.

And that's why they ended up turning the

ball over.

So...

It's just all about, you know,

just continuing to grow and learn from

your mistakes and then just continue to

apply it, honestly.

But you got to look at it too.

I mean, of course,

it's easy to play those players on a

Tuesday night.

I mean,

even though the Mids are a good team,

but I mean,

this is still the regular season,

but

If this is playoff time and,

you know what I'm saying?

I mean, it's like you said, J.

I mean,

if we got to close out a series,

I'm sorry, but they can't see the floor.

They can't.

You got to go get a defense.

Hell no.

Exactly.

And then on top of that, I mean,

in the playoffs, like, you already, like,

shortened your rotation anyways.

Already.

Shorten your rotations.

You're going to need somebody.

A role player is going to step up.

One of them probably will step up and

do some big things.

But to depend on that entire nucleus that

you asked about,

I just don't see that happening.

I just don't.

One of them will have to be a

standout.

That's the only way we see them get

big playoff minutes.

One of them has to be – somebody's

going to have to really,

really stand out and make big plays

consistently going from here on out into

the playoffs.

I think you'll see more.

I think next season for sure you're going

to see that young –

I saw that message,

that I just don't want the Aces to

end up like my Warriors.

But the Orange just got old fast.

I don't think, like Chelsea, yeah,

she's older.

But Jackie and Aja are still young.

Like Aja just made her.

Yeah, like they still, you know,

they still young.

But I think for next season,

that young nucleus will get more and more

roles.

Dana played that role.

Yeah,

like Dana will be there for them again

this year.

for these for these playoffs so she's

gonna have to she don't have no choice

yeah she has yeah she has no choice

but the young nucleus I see I think

you'll see more and more for that like

going through training camp and then the

season did it for the playoffs but this

year I don't I don't know I don't

know I don't think they're gonna end up

like the Warriors though I don't think I

don't think they're gonna end up like the

Warriors the Warriors made a lot of there

was a lot of different mistakes in that

that

You know what I'm saying?

I think the Aces are developing players,

but you got – when you're so top-heavy

like that and got players – you got

to go down with them.

You're going to be – as a coach,

you're going to be kicking yourself in the

ass if you get Jackie or Chelsea on

the damn bench because you had Barker and

Passat on the damn floor.

And they – I mean,

they'll probably get some garbage minutes.

You know, I don't mind that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah,

it's just that I would have lost my

mind if when the Bulls and they run

and they had some Dickie Simpkins on the

floor and not Dennis Rodman in the clutch

moments or Dickie Yen and not Tony Kukoc.

Like it is certain stuff you're just not.

Shout out to him.

But it's just certain things you're just

not going to do.

I'm going down.

As they say,

I'm going as the ship go down.

I'm playing as the ship go down.

I'm not, I'm not.

I'm not fucking around, but yeah.

Before we close this segment out,

so I know we talked about the Aces

and that road stint that they just had.

The Mystics have the same stint here

coming up.

They have a six-game road trip,

road stretch, where they play Portland.

Phoenix twice.

And when I say twice,

like back to back, like they play,

I think it's like the,

they play one day and then they play

them again like a day or two later.

I didn't worry about the damn Phoenix.

Then they got the Sparks, Chicago,

and Indiana.

They should be able to win all them

games, man.

I'm sorry.

Well, no,

I'm just saying about the stretch.

Yeah, I feel that, yeah.

Are those all road games?

All road games all in a row.

So they'll go to Vegas on the thirteenth.

Then they got two home games.

They got two back-to-back home games.

Then six games on the road.

Oh, damn.

So they going from Vegas, then home,

then back on the road?

Yup.

Yup.

So they go, they go Vegas,

two games at home,

six games on the road.

Last two games at home.

Well, damn.

Yeah.

That's a, that's a,

that's a front office seat.

That's a,

that's a WNBA front office issue.

That's almost like, that's almost like,

um,

That's almost like USC and the Big Ten,

like going all the way East Coast and

then coming back home for a game.

They got to go back out.

Yeah.

It's crazy.

Yeah.

Definitely.

Vegas on the fifteenth for who?

Vegas?

I think they play Minnesota on the

fifteenth.

Do they?

I know they just played this past week.

Yeah,

they played Minnesota on the fifteenth on

Saturday.

Oh, shit.

Damn.

Was it going to be in Vegas or

Minnesota?

It's going to be in Vegas.

Vegas.

Yeah.

So let's see.

Anything else on that team, man?

Anything else y'all want to say?

Hold on.

Tony, if you're still here,

I think we're going to talk about the

USA team next week when Lowe's back.

I want to get her opinion on some

of them teams that we're going to talk

about.

I want to talk about that squad without

her.

So be here for that.

But go ahead, Nick.

um i mean just back to the aces

i mean it's like we said i mean

i know that we talked about how the

young players are probably not gonna get

playing time in the postseason but these

other role players like we said i mean

of course we know that jackie asia and

um chelsea you don't say they're very top

heavy and we've seen them be able to

carry this team in a lot of in

a lot of pivotal moments but i'll be

real like the other players got a

stimulant too like what they do like like

the one the one player the one role

player that i'm not concerned about is

data like i know that data is going

to bring the effort

Even if she's not scoring the basketball,

she's going to be able to provide great

perimeter defense, on-ball defense.

So I'm never worried about Dana.

It's the other players.

Like, Jewel is one of them.

Now they got Bree Turner.

Of course, you know, Bree Turner,

you know, of course,

she's going to have to continue her

high-level play.

Who else is there?

KB?

Wow.

Yeah.

I ain't met a Vegas fan that like

KB yet.

Right.

Yeah.

God bless.

God bless that because I ain't met a

Vegas fan that said anything positive

about her.

I mean, okay, never mind.

Let me not say nothing.

Yeah, we're going for that,

but I haven't thought about that yet.

I ain't met one yet.

Before we get to our favorite segment,

Jeremy had a question earlier.

God damn, what we got?

Earlier, earlier.

Fellas,

who are your favorite women that cover the

WNBA?

My favorite is Erica.

Low.

Andrea Cara and Jordan.

My favorite is Low.

Low.

Yes, Low is.

But for others, I'm trying to think.

Other women.

Who else is there?

I like Sinead.

I like Andrea.

Yeah.

I like Eminem, Monica McNutt.

Oh, yeah.

Monica.

Of course, my girl, Shamika Holtzclaw.

Oh, yeah.

I like the USA team.

Yeah, that whole USA squad with her...

Cheryl Miller and Sue Bird.

Is that USA?

No, NBC is Maria,

Cheryl Miller and Sue Bird.

Okay, okay.

I thought... USA is Renee Montgomery.

Yes, that's tonight.

Sophie Cunningham is on there too.

What?

Yes, she is.

I think she's on USA.

Who's at Prime?

know it might be problem i know uh

kp on prime now for like you know

different uh reasons prime is uh swing

cash yeah i know cynthia cooper's on there

too and what's the girl name i like

her she does nba stuff too uh oh

uh damn what's her name she does nba

Cheryl Miller do be having her time.

I forget her name,

but I like Prime as well.

She was.

They all definitely having fun,

but they got people who really...

To even answer Jeremy's question,

I'm trying to think of independent...

I can't think of nobody.

I'm not going to hold y'all, man.

I'm going to be honest, though.

Like,

this year for and i've mentioned this

before earlier like in the middle before

like the first month of the season i'd

be so tapped out with the community online

because they just so outrageous to the

point oh yeah ross too they just be

so outrageous to the point like some of

these people where they just how they

cover i just don't give it down with

and like they they fans and just i

just don't i'd be tapped out so low

is my answer

Lo is my answer.

Our good sister will always be at the

top of the list.

Yeah, Lo is out.

Don't let Lo fool y'all, bro.

Lo be competitive, too.

She be like, ain't nobody better than me.

I'm saying that shit.

I'm like, hey, I like this energy.

Yeah, don't let her fool you at all.

But

All right, you know what time.

Let's get to our favorite segment.

Get up out of here.

We won't be two hours this time, love.

We won't be two hours.

We thought about you.

Yeah, we did.

Come on.

Rob's got a podcast.

Yeah, Rob's got a podcast.

All she does.

I forgot about that shit.

It says so much.

My rotation of podcasts is already...

I got, uh,

I got us involved in it, of course,

but right now I got so much, like,

other stuff, like, that's just not WNBA.

You know what I'm saying?

As far as W-related,

my top two is probably us and then

probably Sue Bird's.

I like Sue Bird's.

Oh, yeah, Sue Bird's.

Yeah, Sue Bird's.

That shit is phenomenal.

I'll rock with her shit for sure, but,

um, I used to listen to, uh,

Candice and, uh,

Aaliyah Boston every week,

but some of they,

they be missing me sometimes with some of

they stuff, but,

Now for y'all be hating,

I know a lot of people be hating

on that show,

but they still be having some good stuff.

I checked out a good minute ago.

Yeah.

Come on,

let's look at these outfits and get up

out of here.

Y'all sure y'all ready for this?

Oh God, that's not good.

Oh, I forgot about, but yeah, so many,

it's so much.

Yeah, I forget about.

Oh yeah, I forgot about theirs too.

Yeah, theirs is good.

let's see whole she's looking like i don't

i don't hate it but it's also like

yeah i i do not like this i

don't i just don't like the purple

honestly so her shoes look

If this was just the jacket and then

something else to the jacket, then yeah,

cuz- Or either or, how about that?

How about either or?

Nah, I- No?

I would have to see it from,

if she wore the pants and then something

else, I would have to see it.

But I could see the jacket.

And then dressing, you know,

using that jacket with something else.

But the whole, the whole fit.

Yeah.

Give me,

I'm going to give her a two.

I'm not a fan of this at all.

This is a very low two to four

range.

I'm not a fan of it at all.

I would give it like a,

I'll give it a five.

Is this a French tribute?

Y'all, y'all ask for crazy, Jeremy.

I can't believe this is my life.

Y'all is insane.

I love y'all for this.

I love y'all for this.

What in the hell?

What is going on, dog?

What is going on, dog?

Hold up.

Page wore this tonight.

Nigga, are you sagging, bro?

No.

What is going on?

What are we doing?

What are we doing, Paige?

I love you to death,

but what the fuck are we doing?

Shout out to Paige, man.

This crop top or somewhat crop top button

down with the underwear to match,

with the boxers to match.

I can't.

Yeah, I'm with you.

I can't, I can't, Tiger.

I'm a hard,

I'm giving it a strong one.

I hate this so much.

Zero, man.

Seven.

i don't know what's going on dog it's

crazy it's too much watching the yard

somewhere she's in the yard yo what

Oh my God.

Crazy dog.

To anybody that's listening to the audio,

please go to YouTube.

Please go to YouTube and you will see

exactly what the fuck we're talking about.

This is one of the worst fits of

the year.

Like, it's not.

Hey, I'm not too mad at this,

Alicia Carter.

I like this.

Hey, Alicia got some pretty good fits,

man.

Yeah.

She get them all.

I'm not mad at this.

I'm going to give it an eight.

Yeah, same.

I'm not mad.

I like this.

I like the bag choice with it or

first choice.

I like it.

Come on now.

I like this little pants she got on.

I like this a lot.

This might be a ten for me.

I ain't going to hold you.

It looks good, man.

The makeup choice, the necklace.

Oh, you know she keeps some red lipstick.

Yeah, like, she did her thing with this.

I'm going to give her a ten.

yes yes all this is it's really come

on now hold on don't y'all don't do

me like that now you know i got

to get these jokes out first definitely

about business i love i love this look

i love it that's a really good look

you don't see i'm not gonna hold you

i like she look like caitlyn here

Damn.

A strong mix.

Either Caitlyn or Stephanie White.

Pick one.

She does.

Honestly, I'm not too mad at this.

This is actually not bad.

I ain't gonna lie.

I'm gonna give her a seven.

I'm gonna give her an eight.

I'm not mad.

They're just perfect.

Yeah, I'll wear this.

Shoe choice,

my shoe choice would be a little bit

different for hers, but overall,

I'm not mad.

She low-key got that shit on,

I ain't gonna lie.

Yeah.

And the glasses hit right.

The glasses are the perfect fit for this.

I'll fuck with this.

You dressed for the Old Navy.

Yo,

when was the last time y'all shopped at

the Old Navy?

Don't mess with me.

I will fuck around and walk in there

tomorrow.

I ain't been to Old Navy.

I used to go to Old Navy all

the time, dog.

I haven't been to Old Navy in some

years.

I ain't been to Old Navy.

I used to have so much Old Navy

stuff.

I used to have so much Old Navy

gear, dog.

They got good stuff.

They do.

They do, man.

They really do.

They really do.

I like this.

Hey,

didn't somebody was saying the Misses got

the best dressed team?

They might, actually.

I ain't gonna lie.

I think, I mean, this is good.

Some of you have something good on.

Shakira normally dresses pretty well.

I get this, like...

This is not a bad outfit as well.

I'm going to give it an eight.

I'm going to give it an eight.

This might be the best damn fit check

we've had in a long time overall so

far.

This is nice.

I almost put up one of our usual

suspects.

Is that Monique?

You know it.

He said you know it.

Did he do it?

Oh my God.

This is fun.

I like his outfit.

I like his outfit a lot.

Special.

Last one.

Ten.

Ten.

Come on now.

Happy birthday from the squad.

Happy birthday to Asia Wilson from the

team.

Happy birthday, Asia.

Excuse me, belated birthday.

Belated, yes.

My God.

Yeah.

Did y'all see somebody on the internet

say, can Bam fight?

And somebody said,

did you hear about what I'm going to

tell the hero?

Yeah.

I ain't trying that, dude, man.

Y'all better stop that man alone.

You ain't hear what happened to the last

security guard?

Right.

Yes, Bam can fight.

Yes, he can.

I'm not fucking with Bam.

I'm not fucking with Bam whatsoever, man.

Shit.

Shit.

That man ain't from a little-ass town in

South Carolina or some shit.

He is a different type of strong.

Not going to be able to do it.

Not going to be able to do it.

No, sir.

Not me.

That's it.

Y'all going to fuck around and find out.

What?

Look, again, not me.

And the way he talk about her lets

me know that he not playing.

I ain't gonna lie.

He's a part of that little docu-series

that ESPN did.

I already watched the first episode.

I gotta watch the rest of that shit.

That's pretty good, honestly.

I didn't think he was gonna be that

active in it, but yeah, he's in there.

Oh, yeah.

I think I'm on, what, episode four?

Yeah, the way he talk about her.

I just finished episode four.

Man,

I'm gonna let him fight two people with

the same.

Listen, listen.

Dog, I'm telling you.

I don't want to find out.

I don't ever want... No smoke.

You can always tell by a man how

you talk about his woman.

You're not going to play around.

You can tell he's not playing around.

He's not with the shit.

You know he probably see the shit.

He know...

How people feel about his woman.

I mean, not to spoil it,

but he does address that shit.

I ain't going to lie.

He does address it.

Hold on.

He address what?

I'm talking about Bam addressing all the

Asian haters and stuff.

I can't wait to find out.

I got to lock in on that shit

for sure.

I be always starting that shit late at

night,

and then I might as well go to

TV watching my ass shit.

Also, just real quick,

y'all be proud of me, man.

I just got Peacock, man,

so I've been trying to watch a little

bit of TV, man.

Oh, my God.

I just started Bel Air.

It's actually pretty good.

I ain't going to lie.

Bel Air is solid.

Man, it's so much damn TV, dog.

It is.

You're not the only person that hated

Carlton off the jump.

Nigga, I can't stand that motherfucker.

Oh, my God.

I'd be ready to fight that dude myself,

bro.

I did not finish that show.

I think I watched the first season.

I don't think I finished it.

I think I'm about like,

now I'm about like five episodes in,

but it's pretty good so far.

Peacock got underrated content.

Apple TV got some of the best content,

and they just don't promote that shit,

bro.

They got some of the best shows,

but they just do not promote that shit.

It's like,

they wait for us to tell people.

Right.

Tubi is definitely underrated.

Tubi is definitely underrated.

People have been telling me about Tubi,

too.

I can't forget about Pluto.

Again,

we watch a lot of old TV shows.

Pluto, Tubi.

There's something we found on YouTube TV.

What's the name of it?

I forgot what the channel is,

but they show a lot of the old...

the old uh tv show especially like like

the cosby show and uh yeah i know

exactly what you're talking about um we

just before we close up we just uh

we just finally started the last season of

the bear so i'm i'm glad i'm trying

to knock i'm trying to knock shit out

Tell a friend, tell a friend.

Like and subscribe, comment.

Go leave five stars and leave a comment,

please.

Because let me tell you something.

Haters...

they will give one star and leave a

crazy comment just because we said

something critique wise.

It's the fact that you put so much

energy into that, bro.

So much energy.

You know how many videos or something I've

watched, and if I didn't like it,

I just kept it moving.

I didn't dislike it.

I didn't leave a crazy comment.

None of that.

I just kept it moving.

I'm still mad from the college season of

that LSU fan.

Oh, yes.

Thank y'all.

Fuck that dude or fuck whoever that was

that gave us one star.

I don't think we said anything crazy,

though, either.

No, we didn't.

It's the fact that, of course,

it was LSU, South Carolina.

They were tight because South Carolina

dust LSU off.

And, of course, we talked about it.

And they just didn't like the fact that

we were talking about South Carolina

beating LSU.

Like, what else is new at this point?

like yeah actually i think that i think

that was the same game with uh flagey

mr free throws yes probably yeah yeah

listen my head don't recommend it hey you

know what listen don't recommend this

channel not that bad because you just

don't want that you know algorithm you

don't like that content but to go as

far as leaving us one star and leaving

a paragraph of hate i'm not

I'm not typing a damn thing.

I'm just going to keep it moving.

If I don't like that shit,

I don't like that shit.

They be doing that shit in our comments

on YouTube.

They be just writing paragraphs and shit.

Mad as hell.

They be mad as fucking the TikTok

comments.

Sometimes they just be arguing amongst

themselves with other people in the

comments, man.

I just be like, bro.

That be funny.

It do be funny as hell.

They talking to us.

I'm like, they ain't even talking to us.

It's two weeks later.

Patel just say, man,

Y'all go ahead.

It don't take no time because the haters

definitely take a time out of their day

just to talk crazy to us because we

said something that they don't agree with.

So do us that favor.

That helps a lot.

Give us five stars and write us a

comment.

Do whatever you got to do,

but appreciate y'all.

Go ahead.

Also,

I know times is hard out here in

these streets, but of course,
